Bio:

Ward Powell is a 26-year veteran of the financial services industry. He started his career in the phone room of American General; setting appointments for financial advisors. Ward worked as an Assistant Data Processing Manager in a Futures & Options firm, located in the Mercantile Exchange. There, he was in direct communication with the floor traders and independent traders with regard to client accounts. He also has worked in insurance, financial and retirement services with AIG Valic as a financial advisor. To service clients more comprehensively and help them secure a “Financial Lifestyle Position”, he founded The Ward Powell Group, Inc. in 2006.

Ward is a Columbia College graduate and a former Chicago Board of Education (certified K-9 teacher). He was inducted into the Wendell Phillips High School Hall of Fame for outstanding contributions in Business and has successfully completed The Abts Institute for Estate Preservation covering Estate Planning, Revocable Living Trusts, and Insurance Preservation Trusts. Ward is a Certified Estate Planner and an active member in the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners.

Ward is currently writing a book on the implementation of asset protection techniques and their key components.
